Stacking Cradle System
KASTO has decisively improved the established principle of stacking cradle storage. UNIBLOC stacking cradles are available in various designs and can carry loads between 6600 and 19,800 lbs.
Depending on picks per hour, different spreader beams are available. The customer can select from manual spreader beams for single or multiple lifts or magnet spreader beams for single or multiple lifts. For a crane system, KASTO recommends sway-free, double-hoist cranes for optimum performance.
The UNIBLOC Stacking Cradle System is an ideal supplement to automatic storage systems or can be used where fully automatic bar storage systems are not justifiable.

The necessary spreader beam(s) are designed to carry two or three layers simultaneously. For optimum performance, dual hoist
cranes (swing-free if possible) are needed with the proper load-carrying capacity.
Depending on the product's length, 2 cradles (for 20-24' lengths) or 3 cradles (for 40' + lengths) per bundle are required.
