Having recently gained accreditation to the highly respected SAFEcontractor scheme which recognises the highest standards of health and safety practice among UK contractors we are pleased to announce our new service to industry.

Machine Safety Health Check

Whilst the economic climate is subdued, to say the least, the one thing none of us can afford to compromise on is the safety and integrity of our Sawing and other machinery. These machines can and will earn us money provided they are kept in good working order.
KASTO Ltd is for this reason offering a very competitively priced Safety Health Check service for sawing equipment to give customers the security and assurance that they are using safe machines. We will carry out checks on your machine(s) and provide a written report on the condition of the safety and operation. Any small faults found will be corrected, where possible, whilst on site. Faults which require additional work or component failure will be identified and a quotation proffered to undertake the repair. We will also observe general condition and reliability and make recommendations on work which would enhance operational and performance ability.

A selection of the areas we would check is as follows:

  • Manual machine controls
  • Automatic machine operation(s)
  • Emergency stop button(s)
  • Safety switches / protective devices
  • Machine guarding
  • Condition of machine / visual check
  • Controls / panel / buttons / switches / coolant levels / brushes
  • Electrical cabinet / panel air filter

The cost for this one day visit (to check up to 4 machines) including travel is only £290+VAT
